In the digital era, academic libraries are confronted with various challenges arisen from not only emerging technology but also the generated data. Not to mention the research paradigm has shifted as well. This talk will discuss the efforts that academic libraries make to empower the library functionality with data services and advanced analyses to support researchers from infrastructure and data curation to data analysis and author services. In the very beginning, the research paradigm shift will be discussed in brief. Accordingly, the academic library as one of supporting organizations will be empowered with state-of-the-art services based on emerging information technology and new service concepts. The first is deploying the infrastructure which will completely support data related services; the second is formulating the policies and strategies for data curation; the third is investigating the data analyses based on informetric methodology and social network; the fourth is developing the best practices for research support to help researcher publish their research outputs.

在數位時代，學術圖書館面臨著來自新興技術和生成資料的各種挑戰，學術研究範式也發生了變化。本次演講將討論學術圖書館致力於發展資料服務和進階分析以強化圖書館的功能，這些服務或功能涵蓋著從基礎設施、資料管理到資料分析和作者服務各面向，以支持機構之研究人員。內容將簡要討論研究範式的轉變，作為支持機構之一的學術圖書館將致力於發展基於最先進資訊技術和新服務理念的新穎服務，開發完全支持資料相關服務的基礎設施；第二是擬訂資料管理的政策和策略；第三是探索基於資訊計量方法和社群網絡的資料分析；第四是發展支持科研工作的最佳實務，協助科研人員發表科研成果。
