Hao-Ren Ke holds a B.S. degree in Computer and Information Science, which he received in 1989, and a Ph.D. degree in the same field, which he obtained in 1993, both from National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan, R.O.C. Currently, he serves as a distinguished professor and the Associate Chairperson of the Graduate Institute of Library and Information Studies at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). From 2013 to 2022, he held the position of University Librarian at NTNU. In addition to his academic roles, he has served as the President of the Interlibrary Cooperation Association (ILCA), the Library Association of the Republic of China (Taiwan), and the Chinese Association of Library and Information Science Education (CALISE).
Hao-Ren Ke's research interests lie in various areas, including library performance measurement, digital library/archives, library and information systems, information retrieval, Web mining, and digital humanities. He has utilized his technical expertise to support the advancement of digital libraries in Taiwan, such as establishing mirror sites for significant A&I databases including SCI/SSCI and Ei Compendex in the late 1990s. He has also developed the Interlibrary Loan Networking System for Taiwanese Libraries, which has greatly expedited the interlibrary loan process in Taiwan. Furthermore, he has played a crucial technical and professional role in the operation of CONCERT (CONsortium on Core Electronic Resources in Taiwan), the largest academic and research library consortium in Taiwan.
Hao-Ren Ke has been actively involved in TELDAP (and its predecessor NSC projects on digital archives) for almost a decade. His team has created digital museum websites that focus on Taiwanese Native artists, such as YuYu Yang (sculptor), Hsin-Chin Liu (cartoonist), Tai-Hsiang Li (musician), and Cloud Gate (dancing theatre).
柯皓仁教授，國立交通大學資訊科學博士。柯教授歷任國立交通大學圖書館副館長、國立臺灣師範大學（臺師大）圖書館副館長，臺師大圖書館館長，現為臺師大圖書資訊學研究所教授兼副所長。柯教授的研究興趣包含數位人文、數位圖書館、數位典藏、圖書館資訊系統、圖書館績效評估、資訊檢索、資料探勘、鏈結資料、大數據等。
柯教授以其資訊科技的背景，多年來持續協助臺灣圖書館界邁向數位圖書館。在世紀交替前後，柯教授於臺灣建置了包含SCI/SSCI, Ei Compendex, CSA等索摘資料庫系統的鏡射站；柯教授為臺灣圖書館界設計與開發館際互借系統，對臺灣圖書館界的館際互借服務具有重大貢獻；此外，柯教授在臺灣最大的圖書館聯盟CONCERT (CONsortium on Core Electronic Resources in Taiwan)亦提供許多技術上的諮詢。
柯教授過去十餘年在數位典藏方面著力甚深，其所帶領的團隊主要著重於臺灣重要藝術家與團隊的典藏數位化，包含楊英風（雕刻家）、劉興欽（漫畫家）、李泰祥（音樂家）、朱銘（雕刻家）、雲門舞集（表演藝術）、優人神鼓（表演藝術）等。
柯教授曾擔任中華民國圖書館學會理事長、中華圖書資訊學教育學會理事長、中華圖書資訊館際合作協會理事長。
